Video shows security arresting thug who tried to snatch a bag

Another video was posted on social media which showed a thug snatching someone's bag - however, he was caught and nearly beaten by the locals.

On Friday, Intelligence Bureau SA shared a video on Facebook, which showed a thug grabbing an unsuspecting pedestrian's bag.

However, witnesses saw what happened and immobilised him. Security guards jumped in an saved the man from mob justice.

The guards then took him to their vehicle and continued to arrest him.

However, Briefly.co.za gathered South Africans felt the man should have been beaten by the locals before the security arrested him.

Sibusiso Louis Ngwenya commented: "Why arrest him so fast before the community give him some gift for the road...mxm."
Nkosana Moyo added: "This is the the part where security guys "look away", just for a couple of minutes, then intervene only when the public seems satisfied."
Gaynor Paynter said: "Nice to see everyone coming to help."
Moeketsi Mokoena wrote: "Mob justice asseblief!"
Lindokuhle WasemaNcubeni added: "they were supposed to leave him a little for the community to vandalize him."
