A biker was allegedly threatened by a cop with an assault rifle - and the incident was caught on video.
On Friday, a video was posted on Facebook by South Africa Live which allegedly showed a cop pointing a gun at a motorcyclist in traffic.
"SA police seen to be allegedly threatening Motorcyclist with assault riffles in Gauteng. As Received: This happened on my commute to work yesterday when I came up behind an unmarked four car convoy," the description read.
Briefly.co.za gathered South Africans came to defense of the cops - slamming the biker for not abiding by the laws of the road.
Counsel Munos commented: "What did you aim to archieve, u kept creeping up behind them, thats prisoner transport (dangerous ones for that matter) your desire to be viewed as a victim and draw sympathy is pathetic, u were a potential threat even so and acting suspicious as u were doing, the other is even gesturing to you to f... Off and u keep coming for more. No sympathy dude."
Jaco Huisamen added: "They were probably escorting dangerous criminals or detectives doing their work. Sometimes the public must just stay away let alone being nosy on a motorbike with a fullface helmet."
Thubelihle Majola said, "In my opinion this biker went and provoke the police convoy,I don't know for what reason."
