South Africans were left with mixed emotions after a video went viral which showed women and two kids robbing a quickshop at a filling station.
On Tuesday, Intelligence Bureau SA posted a video on Facebook, which showed a robbery at the Engen garage on corner Beyers Naude Dr and Mimosa Rd, Blackheath, Randburg.
The footage showed two females, accompanied by two kids, stealing several items from the store before leaving the scene of the crime in a blue Toyota Camry.
South Africans were left feeling sorry for the children, Briefly.co.za gathered.
Kananelo Lentsoane commented: "Seems like the little ones know the drill."
Micheal Beachlin wrote, "Watching this video I actually feel bad for this lady and her kids. They look like their stealing food. I would beg barrow steal to feed my kids."
Beachlin added, "As a business owner you should have some compassion towards this situation, I personally think management could have handled this situation differently rather than just putting this video up. I am by no means promoting theft or condoning it."
Annelie Crause said, "Feel sorry for the kids. Bad parenting."
