Twitter user, Scarlett (@CarolineMugz), persuaded many more females to take an interest in politics when she shared photos of the Vice-President of Malawi.

Saulos Chilima is set to challenge for the presidency in May and many have admired his good looks and fashionable dress sense.

The photos shared showed Chilima looking cool in hoodies, peak caps, and basketball gear.

She added that Chilima is 45 years old but arguably as fit as a 26-year-old.

South Africans couldn’t resist a dig or two.

Ms Lo asked, “Can he come fetch Bushiri please?” and Mel’s Sunshine added, “He must come get Bushiri.”

Just as Scarlett had been presumptuous with her tweet when implying that Chilima is the president, so too were some South Africans as they hailed Julius Malema as the incumbent.
