Ex-Bafana Bafana midfielder, Lerato Chabangu, is looking forward to his new beginning at Midrand-based club, Baberwa. Lerato signed a 6-month deal with the club, his first deal since 2018 and he's feeling great.
Soccer star and former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Lerato Chabangu, is feeling great now that he was offered a new start.
He bagged a 6-month deal with Baberwa, the Midrand based soccer club. Lerato played for Pretoria Callies in 2018 and is excited about this new opportunity.
SowetanLIVE reports that Lerato will make the most of his time with the club.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Lerato made headlines for the wrong reasons in the last few months after he was snapped with a drink and looking terrible at a football match. He wasn't playing, but it still upset soccer fans.
According to Lerato, the photo is 7 years old, but fortunately for him, that same snap is what prompted Joe Seanego, Baberwa boss, to offer the soccer player a new start.
Lerato is really very excited.
I'm feeling great my man, because it's been long without me playing, and playing is something that is in me since I was born. It's a good feeling to come back and play football.
I'm too much committed because they gave me the chance that no one wanted to give me. So I have to show my gratefulness.
The environment is very good and they have a lot of quality players. We've got a lot to offer this time.
Congratulations, Lerato! We can't wait to see you do your thing on the field.
