The rapper took to social media to share his recent thoughts on South Africa's car culture.

Not everyone can afford a BMW or a flashy Mercedes, and that should’t be a problem as long as one can get around. Unfortunately in this country, cars are a symbol of social status and Emtee is fed up of this.

Emtee can personally relate to this, remember back in 2016 when he was still new-to-the-game, he mocked for pushing his car after it had broken down?

Things have turned out for the best for him as he recently got himself a Mercedes Benz. Judging from his tweet this week though, he still hasn’t forgotten where he comes from.
