On Monday, a video was posted on social media which showed the evidence leader mistakenly referring to Zuma's son as Duduzane Gupta.

“We requested and obtained records from the department of home affairs, of certain persons including yourself [Vytjie Mentor], Mr Ajay Gupta, Mr Atul Gupta, Mr Rajesh Gupta, Mr Duduzane Gupta,” The Citizen quoted her saying.

The video reached 28,4k views in just a couple of days and South Africans could not contain their laughter.

One tweep, @kamoh_M, hilariously commented, "Well...... if the shoe fits..."

Although many found the footage funny, others felt bad for the evidence leader and defended her, adding she made a simple mistake.

Meanwhile, Duduzane is not the only Zuma family member to make headlines today. Earlier Briefly.co.za reported Jacob Zuma send a 'bittersweet' Valentine's Day message to South Africans.

Today, 14 February, marks the one year anniversary of Zuma's resignation as the South African head of state.

Zuma stepped down last year after he faced increased pressure from the African National Congress (ANC) and opposing parties to do so.
