Social media was blown away by the kindness and the amazing voice of a nurse who lovingly sang Amazing Grace to an elderly patient and her husband at the hospital where she works
Olivia Killburn from the United States, shared a beautiful video with social media and praised the nurse, Mikea Braden, who was taking care of her ill grandmother, 71-year-old Patsy Tate.
Olivia says that her mother has been blessed with the best nurse technician as she goes the extra mile to brighten her granny’s day.
Patsy had been in the hospital treating a heart condition and was later released from hospital St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Briefly.co.za found.
Social media users shared the appreciation of Mikea’s kindness and beautiful voice.
William Davis, a Facebook user praised Mikea and her connection to God.
“This young beautiful lady just knew what to do. She knows God is the greatest technician and doctor of all. There’s no other way to put smiles on the face of your patients than she has done,” he said. “Continue to reference God Almighty for he his worthy of Our praise and Worship. Amen”
Mikea and Patsy’s story inspired other people to share their experiences with nurses who took their care way beyond the call of duty.

“My mother passed 6 years ago while in assisted living under hospice care. One of the nurse aides came in and sang Amazing Grace over her after she passed. It was beautiful and very appreciated. The contributions health care professionals make during this time to help the family during a heartbreaking time are immeasurable.”
