Former comedian Bill Cosby has been spending time in SCI Phoenix prison, living out his sentence after he was found guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, a former university basketball administrator. Cosby claims his cell is similar to that of Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi's.
Bill Cosby was sentenced to at least 3 years in prison after he was found guilty of first drugging and then molesting Andrea Constand, an ex-university basketball administrator.
Cosby has apparently been having many creative ideas in his cell in SCI Phoenix prison, which he claims is similar to the quarters of some of the greatest political prisoners like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr, according to a report by The Citizen.
The 81-year-old former comedian is apparently planning documentaries and shows for when he is released from prison.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Cosby's spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, says he looks happy when he visits him.
He stands up straight, shakes your hand and he’s smiling. Right now he is so creative. I was talking to Mrs Cosby last night and she was talking about how he’s now more creative than ever. He is in his mind developing shows and documentaries while he is in prison.
When I visit him, there’s nothing sad about him, he’s not sad, he’s not remorseful because he did nothing wrong. The sheer volume of women coming forward and making these accusations does not mean that it’s true, women do lie.
According to reports, the former TV icon has been labelled a “sexually violent predator”.
