Dr Viwe Mtwesi was on the receiving end of a vicious attack from a cyber bully on Tuesday.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Metro FM’s Fresh Breakfast team shared photos of the cardiologist wearing a revealing outfit.

She then received flak from a tweep using the Twitter handle, Warrior Woman Elminie, who claimed the doctor looked like a prostitute.

Another tweep, Diane Redelinghuys, also responded to ask if the dress code was appropriate for a cardiologist.

Mtwesi has now hit back after tracking down the mysterious Warrior Woman Elminie.

TimesLIVE reported that she’s opened a case of crimen injuria and defamation of character.

Mtwesi said, "That woman called me a prostitute. I did not open a case because I have something against prostitutes or am judging them, she just needs to be taught a lesson about cyber bullying."

The young doctor explained that an unknown person sent her the personal details of Warrior Woman Elminie.

Mtwesi then contacted the hospital she works at as a background check and subsequently opened the case.

Briefly.co.za understands that a legal firm based in Johannesburg has offered to take on the case pro bono.
