Briefly.co.za recently shared a picture of a white model, Martina Big, who has changed her skin colour to coincide with her ‘black identity,’ and readers gave us their take on the situation.
The matter was also previously reported on by Briefly.co.za, in an article regarding Martina’s decision to move to Kenya, in order to raise a family in Africa.
“I not only look like an African woman, I also feel that I’m now an African woman. I spent time in Kenya last year and I felt so at home. Now I have a lot of invitations from all over Africa,” Martina proudly explained.

Briefly.co.za’s readers were divided on the model’s decision.
Some social media users defended Martina’s right to express herself and gave her props for her look:
