Mother of Dros accused rapist suffers loss, boyfriend commits suicide

- A 40-year-old man who has been identified as the boyfriend of the infamous Dros accused rapist’s mother, has committed suicide

- The man hanged himself in the home where he was living with the accused rapist’s mother

- Meanwhile, the accused rapist has been deemed fit to stand trial for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Dros restaurant in Pretoria

The mother of the accused rapist who allegedly raped a minor in a Dros bathroom was left in shock when it was recently found that her boyfriend had hanged himself in their home.

The 40-year-old man, who has been dating and living with the Dros accused rapist’s mother, had recently been arrested for assaulting a gardener who was working in their complex.

The man was on bail when it was discovered that he had killed himself.

He had a reputation at the complex where he and the Dros rape-accused’s mother were living; according to News24, other inhabitants were scared of the 40-year-old and often heard him screaming aggressively.

While the mother of the Dros rape-accused has suffered this blow, it has been determined that her son is fit to stand trial for the alleged raping of a child in a restaurant bathroom.

Briefly.co.za found out that the accused has been evaluated by a team of psychiatrists and psychologists at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital and has been cleared to attend the upcoming trial.
