SA celeb Minnie Dlamini shared her Valentine’s Day confusion with the world on Twitter and fans had a lot to say about it. Minnie explained in her Tweet how she had been extremely upset because she didn’t receive a gift on Valentine’s Day, only to get a complete shock when she woke up the next day with bags packed and her hubby, Quinton Jones, ready to whisk her off to a weekend getaway.
Minnie Dlamini was surprised when, on Valentine’s Day morning, she woke up to find no gifts from her husband, Quinton Jones.
The star then shared on social media how she ended up feeling embarrassed because her loving hubby had, in fact, booked a weekend-long luxury getaway for the couple.
Minnie and Quinton got married in 2017 and have made a reputation for themselves as one of SA’s most loved celeb couples.
According to ZAlebs, the couple celebrated their wedding as a 3-part special on Vuzu TV and broke the station’s records with their beautiful ceremony.
Briefly.co.za took to social media and saw how a lot of Minnie’s fans on Twitter found her Valentine’s Day mix-up very endearing and wished her well for her weekend of love and relaxation.
@Hlengiw44506001: "Wowu're blessed dear"
@Iam_Primo: "Lol I’m sure you do - enjoy your trip. He must know your schedule very well. So big ups Mr Jones"
Other fans seemed to feel that Minnie was being slightly ungrateful and asked her about her plans for Quinton for V-Day.
@Joburg_Emperor: "Kanti why have women captured Valentine's day?! If he didn't do anything for you, what's stopping you from doing something for him?? Valentine's day is NOT about women!"
@Raymond_Red20: "Next time be patient"
@nare_chokoe: "If he didn't book a romantic getaway;I guess you wouldn't have said anything hai.."
A group of fans made Briefly.co.za laugh with their references to the imaginary men’s conference that had Mzansi in stitches last week.
@thatomatuka: "Minnie I was with him at #MenConference2019 yesterday.. that’s why!!! But he mentioned this romantic getaway..."
@s_mfundoA: "He had to attend to moddoda issues first MaDlamini at the #mensconference19"
