DJ Cleo attacked for supporting controversial friend Brickz Mabrigado

DJ Cleo is currently in hot water and the public is just not impressed. The musician has been trending on social media for being a part of an event involving his former artist and friend Brickz Mabrigado, who is currently in prison.

The City Press reported that DJ Cleo participated in a sports event in the Krugersdorp prison where Brickz is currently serving time. Cleo was one of the soccer players who was invited to participate in the soccer game held between the professional soccer players and the prisoners.

The event was allegedly organized by an NPO called the Humanitarian Empowerment Fund to help rehabilitate prisoners.

Outrage broke out when the news of this event hit the media. To add fuel to the fire pictures of DJ Cleo and Bricks hugging emerged.

Social media was divided with some admiring Cleo for sticking by his firend while others, including Boity, expressed disgust and disappointment.

The legendary musician has recently made it clear that this year he wishes to put his children first. Briefly.co.za reported that DJ Cleo spilled the tea on his 2019 new year's resolutions in a recent interview. The legendary producer made it clear that he wanted to put his kids above making money. These comments may now raise a few eyebrows given that Brickz was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.
