TshisaLive reported that the artist lost everything including her life's musical work when her former estranged husband, Thuthukani Mvula set all her belongings alight.

She said her biggest heartaches was dealing with the loss of an almost complete album which burnt up in flames, along with her clothes and other stuff. She added that losing her music was the most difficult thing she had to deal with because she considers herself a creative.

"I didn't beat myself up that much, I had to soldier on and find ways to make more good music for my people. I am creating even better music this time. I'm glued to my pen, song-writing as we speak. But I am currently back in the studio," she said.

Mshoza and her estranged husband, Thuthukani went through a difficult marriage. She fled the home they shared amid cheating and assault allegations. It is believed Mshoza went into hiding when Thuthukani started posted pictures of him burning her belongings on social media.

Months later she revealed that she had forgiven him and moved on with her life. The singer said she knew she would be okay when she started focussing on her music again.

Mshoza added that there is one unreleased song that she loves and is close to heart is the one she dedicated to her late mother. She described it as more personal and said although it pains her heart, she also finds comfort knowing that she is no more.

"I had to be strong and took my pain behind that mic. I hope someone out there will relate to the song," said Mshoza.

She promised that there is more music on the way and said she owed her success and her comeback to her fans.

" Over the past ten years my pillar of strength has been Abantu bami (my fans) and it's always a highlight seeing them appreciate the music I bring out for them. I shall continue giving them nothing but good music."

She said she could write songs for generations to come and make her people dance to, all while still keeping the spirit of Kwaito alive.
