Somizi has always been open about his journey in the entertainment industry, both the good and the bad. He recently took to social media to bring up the issue of industry fat cats exploiting talented artists.
The media personality came across a post from US singer Syleena Johnson about being paid based on talent, and it resonated with him.
He commented on how people hiring would never try to buy a Ferrari with a Mini Cooper budget, but try to hire talented names with limited budget.
He went on to say that he is always open to negotiation, but most times it is just “disrespectful.”
"Know your worth. Compromise if there's a return on that investment. Amen."
That’s a good word, Somizi. Amen.
Somizi has been busy lately, planning his wedding of the decade with Mohale. Briefly.co.za learnt that the wedding is going to be a huge extravaganza, to be held at four different venues and the main ceremony to take place at the Mandela Bridge during the Easter weekend in April.
