A Gauteng woman, Lauren Nel-Piggott, blessed generous car guards with a warm meal and cash after they helped her protect the inside of her car from getting wet in the rain.
A group of car guards went the extra mile to help a woman who left her car windows open in the rain. The car guards helped her out by covering it up and ensuring her car’s interior stayed nice and dry, as Briefly.co.za reported earlier.
Lauren says that she had had a busy day trying to complete a hundred different tasks and simply forgot to close the window, even though it was pouring with rain.
Lauren was moved by the car guards’ kindness and took to social media to thank them for their help.
Thinking on their feet, the car guards who work at the Lonehill Shopping Mall parking lot, covered the car’s windows with cardboard to stop the rain entering.
After seeing the fuss made about the car guards on social media, the woman went back the next day, hoping to thank the guards in person. She also gave them a lovely warm mean and some money.
To my four heroes, thank you for taking the initiative and going the extra mile to save my car from being flooded, words can’t explain how eternally grateful I am for your kindness, Lauren wrote.
