Rumours have been rife that Metro FM’s DJ Fresh was on his way out of the radio station. The disk jockey has laid the rumours to rest for now by saying that he would be back on Tuesday.
Listeners were shocked when they tuned in to find the popular show anchored by afternoon host Mo Flava. What was stranger still was the fact that Fresh’s entire team was missing, causing suspicion.
Rumours started running on social media that this was a trial run to move Fresh to the afternoon slot, while Mo takes over the morning show.
Speculation is that the official switch will happen in April. The much loved DJ FResh recently blessed us with a 10 Year Challenge we never knew we needed. Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mzansi celebrities had been taking to social media to post pictures of themselves from 10 years ago, in what was dubbed the 10 Year Challenge. One of the country’s most loved celebrities, DJ Fresh has also joined the festivities, but he did it a little differently. The Big Dawg threw it all the way back, starting with a pic mix of his prom night from 1988 right until now, as Metro FM radio presenter. He shared pictures of his days at YFM, showing how far he’s really come in his career.
