Controversial power couple, S'bu and Shauwn Mpisane, have called it quits, according to court records.

On Monday, news broke that the Durban couple have decided to file for divorce and is set to appear before Judge Rashid Vahed of the Durban High Court on Wednesday.

According to IOL, court records confirmed S'bu and Shauwn decided to go their separate ways.

Briefly.co.za gathered news of their alleged split first surfaced in September last year when City Press reported they were no longer sharing a home.

Thus far, the reason for their divorce has not yet been revealed but their split followed massive financial woes.

Over the years the pair raised eyebrows with their flashy lifestyles, especially since they made their millions with questionable state tenders.

However, their lavish lifestyles were put on hold after Sars seized the Mpisanes personal and business assets.

The couple is reportedly married in community of property, so, we wonder who is getting the massive Durban mansion.

Briefly.co.za previously reported a video was shared on social media which allegedly featured footage of a massive mansion believed to belong to the Mpisanes.

Simply captioning it, "The Mpisane’s are LIVING", social media user Vuyo's video showed exactly how large the controversial duo's house truly is.
