Muso, Papa Penny claims he's being side-lined by the ANC members in Limpopo. He said the top ruling party members are probably jealous of his popularity.
His statement comes from the fact that he believes he was deliberately left of the guest list at certain events and he did not receive any VIP cards.
"The ANC officials must recognise me and not treat my like an ordinary person," he told The Daily Sun.
Penny believes that it all started last year when he stood against Limpopo Premier, Stan Mathabatha for the provincial ANC chairman position in Polokwane in June.
"They mustn't sabotage me because I contested during the conference," said Penny.
The musician also believed the party officials are up to something because they had not invited him when Cyril Ramaphosa visited Limpopo on Sunday for the manifesto launch in Thohoyandou.
Penny also mentioned that when he's at ANC rallies, officials always tell him that he's disrupting proceedings.
"I cant watch and be quiet while people destroy my talent," he added.
Although very disappointed and annoyed with the ANC members, he said he would never leave the political party. He said he loved the ANC and it lives in his heart.
Meanwhile Mathabatha's spokesman, Kenny Mathiba said many distinguished people are not always invited to functions. He also added that the people have misled Penny Penny for contesting for the position of Premier.
Two months ago, Briefly.co.za reported Papa Penny standing up for King Monada and that he needed to be protected and guided.
Papa Penny Penny paid Monada a visit in Bolebedu, his hometown to acknowledge his talent. Papa Penny also said that Monada should be guided in the right direction and protected.
