South Africans have been drawn to a recent video shared via social media.
The video was shared by South Africa Live and is named, Taxi Drivers by Wikus.
It shows the comical interactions between a taxi driver and an embattled motorist.

The video kicks off with a butch, young man walking down the street while drinking from his water bottle.
He is immediately agitated as a taxi driver whizzes past and narrowly misses him.
To add insult to injury, the same taxi driver snubs him a short while later as he drives in his car.
The taxi driver cuts in ahead of him and soon brings the taxi to a complete stop.
The motorist becomes aggressive and starts shouting at the driver of the taxi.

The to and fro battle continues until the motorist eventually becomes fed up and approaches the taxi after it comes to a halt again.
The dramatic sound effects and camera angles suggest the man is about to launch an attack but there’s a surprise twist.
As soon as he opens the door, he witnesses one of the passengers giving birth in the taxi.
The video then recaps the events and shows that the taxi driver’s actions were all motivated by the woman in labour.
Briefly.co.za noted that many South Africans saw the funny side but others hated that taxi drivers were glorified by the video.
Jandre Janse van Rensburg said, “Stop making taxi drivers look innocent when they actually drive *** and dangerous.”
Atticus Tshepo added: “So our lives must constantly be endangered by such reckless driving and we must chill because it’s only a taxi driver?”
Thabang Bigjoy Mokoena commented: “Fact that the lady was in labour doesn't justify the taxi driver to Disobey Rules of the road. Not impressed all at.”
Given Mbongeni Mabena said, “The creativity and quality of these south African clips show we can do way better in the film industry considering our daily stories such as this.”
