ZCC is the biggest African church and has its headquarters in Zion City, Limpopo and is represented by the colours green and yellow.

Like many churches, congregants wear uniforms which differ between provinces and genders. The official uniforms which are sometimes khaki, and the fact that members also wear badges indicating their branch, seemingly lends itself to being mistaken for a security company.

The woman, who is from Bodibe in the North West, shared her experience on Twitter and surprisingly, she was not the only one who had those assumptions about the popular church.

Cela says when he was walking around Rwanda with his friend in ZCC uniform, everyone thought Cele was walking around with a personal police officer.

Mzansi wanted to know what happened next, joking that the woman was going to be punished and should probably be thankful she is not in Limpopo where the church is taken very seriously, Briefly.co.za found.
