Mzansi left shook as another video of a brazen robbery goes viral

A video has gone viral on social media which showed another robbery taking place on the sidewalks of Johannesburg.

Within just four hours, a video managed to gather over 50k views on Facebook. The footage showed a man walking the sidewalks before he was jumped by a couple of thugs.

The video was shared on social media by Facebook group Intelligence Bureau SA on Thursday.

"Johannesburg Bok and Twist streets! Street robberies are happening all day every day no police presence," the video was captioned.

Briefly.co.za gathered the video sparked quite the reaction on social media and South Africans were fuming.

Elliot Sousa commented: "I don't care if my comment will be reported BUT I'm going to look for this guys(the same that attacked that school boy)And I'm going to take they're right to live...."
Thokozani Bhuzuzu added: "Gama We must ask the Taxi association to be there clearly they are our only hope!!"
Bronson Joseph wrote: "What's the point of having cameras if the police are no where to be seen."
Amos Lewis said, "Same tactic everytime. Using the choke hold so the victims faint. Makes it easier for them to empty the pockets with less retaliation and an opportunity to clear the scene."
