Mzansi pokes fun at ANC’s huge bellies: “Politics of the stomach”

- Footage is shared of senior ANC officials marching but each one has a huge belly

- According to the post, this is a clear sign of greed and theft

Twitter user, @mafiwa2, pulled no punches in a recent tweet on the ANC (African National Congress).

He captioned the tweet as follows: “Huge Bellies all over, a sign of greed and gluttony, ANC of eatists. This thieves have been robbing us blind for 25 years, they need your votes to keep looting.”

He included a short video clip of senior ANC officials walking during a rally.

The thing that stood out is that each politician boasted a big belly thus proving the point.

Briefly.co.za gathered the tweep to be a staunch supporter of the EFF (Economic Freedom Fighters).

Many tweeps shared the same sentiment and criticised the physique of the politicians.

Ironically, EFF leader Julius Malema has actually lost weight over the last few years and this was referred to as well.

Twitter user, @ESNK, said: “I think @tito_mboweni must introduce a tax for men with this prosperity bellies. This special tax can then be used to find education or bail out SOE indefinitely.”
This was followed up by @JDGEYIE as he added, “Politics of the stomach.”

The harsh comments and hilarious memes kept on coming.

Twitter user, @Ruardemmanuel, put it bluntly: “They all look 11 months pregnant.”
