Cop melts hearts playing dolls with little girls to calm them down

A police officer proved that being a cop is about more than physical strength and an intimidating persona after he was recorded keeping a little girl calm and happy by playing with her after responding to a call.

Brandon Fleming, an officer from the South Hill Police Department in the US was responding to a call about a gas leak which turned out to be a false alarm.

The kids, however, were excited about seeing a policeman and wanted him to play with him. Enthusiastically, the humble Officer Fleming, joined in and played and coloured with them finding it just as amusing as the kids did.

“Plus who doesn't like playing and coloring with kids?! It's probably my favorite thing to do.They were so kind to me and I'm so thankful they allowed me to play with them today,” he wrote.

He says he thoroughly enjoyed being appreciated by the bright little people who even taught him how to use their toys. Fleming says the kids showed great kindness and love, Briefly.co.za found.

“They were so helpful and kind and sweet to each other and to me especially. Thank y'all for raising them right.”

Social media users were touched by the kind police offer’s action and took to social media to share their appreciation for having respectable officers protecting their community.

Many users who live in the community shared that they are fmiliar with the officer and always enjoy his company and the way he handles situations.
