The SABC is clearly doing some Spring cleaning because they have recently announced that two of their most popular television shows, Uzalo and Skeem Saam will no longer have its episodes published by the station on YouTube.
The state broadcaster has signed a new licence agreement with another live streaming service called Viu. This means that the episodes of the two shows will stop being broadcast on YouTube on 28 February 2019, as Viu will then take over.
This move is one of the ways of making sure that the station preserves their funds. So if you’re an avid watcher of the shows on YouTube, heads up, things are about to change.
Uzalo recently had fans in a huff after they let go three cast members for their new season. Briefly.co.za previously reported that after Uzalo's season 4, fans had to say goodbye to three characters. Noxy Mabika, Nay Maps and Glen Gabela left the popular soapie.
