When a Ferrari met with a light pole at a high speed, the light pole got off lightly - the car was totalled. Miraculously enough, the driver escaped injury and his passenger was treated for moderate injuries.

Anyone who appreciates a good-looking car will cringe when they see the state of a red Ferrari that crashed into a light pole during the early hours of Saturday.

We're sure not even the best mechanics will be able to put this car back together. It is a wreck.

Fortunately, the passengers were very lucky as the driver didn't suffer any injuries and his passenger was only treated for moderate injuries. Very lucky!

The car was heading down William Nicol Drive when the driver lost control just short of the Witkoppen Road bridge and hit the pole, according to a report by The South African.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the luxury car has been completely written off and is nothing more than expensive scrap metal now.
