Local star, Minnie Dlamini-Jones was reportedly robbed of her 18 carat rose gold and diamond ring in May 2018. A thug demanded the ring as well as other belongings from Minnie and her hubby at a robot in Randburg.
A report by The Sowetan indicates that a case of robbery was opened at Randburg police station after Minnie Dlamini and her husband were robbed in May of 2018.
According to the report, Minnie and Quinton were waiting in their vehicle at a red robot in Randburg when a thug approached her side with a sharp object.
The man then demanded their cellphones, wallets and Minnie's wedding ring.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the couple's loss was an estimated R250,000.
Police spokesperson Makgowanyana Maja stated that no suspects have been arrested in the robbery case but that an investigation is still ongoing.
Minnie didn't comment on the report yet, and neither did her husband.
The gorgeous ring was designed and made by Jenna Clifford, a top jewellery maker. She confirmed that the ring was made from 18 carat rose gold and diamonds.
Minnie's ring was reportedly insured, but being robbed of it must have been a big shock and traumatic experience to her.
