#ResurrectionChallenge has spread through Mzansi like wildfire, and South Africans have risen to the occasion with hilarious results. Daniel Marven was left calling for order in the latest cheeky jab at the incident.

Marven took to Twitter to join in the shenanigans today when he was photoshopped into one of the photos that went viral.

Whether it was someone else or Daniel's brainchild, we will never know, but either way it had us in stitches.

This is a story that just gets funnier by the moment with eagle-eyed people catching out the pastor with ridiculous details.

Marven himself posted a keen observation- the reinvigorated man carried a cellphone! This takes ghosting someone to a whole new level... Who would take that call?

Daniel is probably as guilty of being involved in all this as this guy who had been spotted posing for a snap with the pastor himself.

Briefly.co.za posted earlier that a video of this bewildered man had been pictured having a snack after his reincarnation.

Were we eager to have a distraction today? Are South Africans easily amused? Probably! But nevertheless most of us are having a good laugh at the latest ridiculous stunt.

Of course Major 1 had to make an appearance if we were poking fun at outlandish pastors.

While we struggle to decide if our pastor is legit or just trying to fund his private jet one thing remains clear: No one can make the best of something like South Africans.
