Weekends are for resting or spending time with the family or friends. But not our Mzansi famous ladies, they worked the weekend, and made sure they rocked up in their best too.
Briefly.co.za looked at 5 Mzansi celebs who had to work this weekend either at gigs, events, appearances, networking or photoshoots.
Obviously being their celeb that they are, they also had to dress the part too. So, no lazy weekend shorts and a T-shirt for these ladies. Here's what they did and what they wore.
1. Lerato Kganyago
Lerato travelled to Nelspruit for a DJ gig. The media presenter wore a floral print jumpsuit so she could travel in comfort. The jumpsuit was adorable and it suited her body shape perfectly.
2. Pearl Modiadie
The gorgeous presenter worked late on Friday night at TrendingSA. She wore a tight fit mini black dress which has embellishments across the neckline down to mid waist. She accessorised with sparkly heels and earrings and had some volume in her hair.
3. Minnie Dlamini-Jones
Minnie was on a job as a MC this weekend. She wore a designer gown by Gert Johan Coetzee. She wore a pale blue figure-hugging gown with a thigh-high slit and heavy detailing on the front. Looked similar to the dress she wore at the Samsung launch last week. She accessorised with pin straight hair and diamonds as her bling.
4. Khanyi Mbau
Khanyi shared a snap of her wearing a red cocktail dress with buckle straps. She completed the look with black pumps and big hoop earrings. Khanyi wore her hair open with loose volumized curls. She also had matching red coat.
5. Bonang Matheba
Although she's in New York, Bonang Matheba made sure she posted snaps on her Instagram account to share with her fans. It looks like the Mzansi star was filming for her new season of her reality TV show, Being Bonang. She's being slaying with her designer clothes in New York's snow. But on Saturday, she amazed us with her matching PVC leather combo paired with a leopard print bag and white pumps.
Meanwhile earlier today, Briefly.co.za learned that local star, Minnie Dlamini-Jones was reportedly robbed of her 18 carat rose gold and diamond ring in May 2018. The Sowetan reported that a thug demanded the ring as well as other belongings from Minnie and her hubby at a robot in Randburg. Investigations are still ongoing.
