We've seen a softer side of AKA now that he claims he found peace and stability since his family had reunited.

In his shout-out to his mum, the rapper wrote: "Hey Mom ❤️ @lynnforbesza Ⓜ️ (even tho I don’t like this snake trend ) ... looking good."

Now that is a sweet man, a mommy's boy if you want to call him that.

Earlier this month, AKA teamed up with his mom, Lynne Forbes to pay it forward by adopting an athlete in the Adopt An Athlete Campaign, as they prepare for the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in March.

Lynn posted a shout-out to AKA when he made a donation towards the campaign. There are 70 athletes in the team on The Road to Abu Dhabi and they all need financial assistance and support. Check out the post on her Instagram account.

Yesterday, Briefly.co.za reported on how AKA’s recent Comedy Central roast saw his beef with fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest take centre stage. AKA didn’t miss a chance to take shots at his rival.

AKA was grilled by a panel of celebrities last Thursday. Many chose to poke at the fact that Cassper was better than him, but AKA was ready with his clap backs. The rapper had been waiting all night to take to the mic and unleash his jokes.

He started out by calling Penny Penny's career a "scam" and even called him Cassper’s father. AKA then went on to tell the panelists that they were all there because of him and claimed the country would be boring without him. He said if he wernt around, the industry would be dominated by a man who begged fans to buy tickets for his show - Cassper Nyovest.
