Reigns talks about leukemia battle and working with The Rock

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Roman Reigns, revealed more on his struggle with cancer.

He talked about the strenuous journey that found him back in the ring on Monday Nigh Raw announcing his return to WWE and remission of leukemia.

In the interview on Good Morning America, Reigns stressed the importance of his family and the impact they had on helping him through the eleven years since his diagnosis.

"They (my family) have been my rock. I think that is the most important thing, that support system that surrounds you. sometimes it is our families that suffer the most, " Reigns told Good Morning America.

"We are just in it and we're trying to overcome and move onto the next day and continue the progress. They are the ones worrying to death. My mum bless her heart, she's the biggest worrywart in the world," Roman revealed.

Reigns has also been working with Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and talked about the unbelievable experience he had with the Hollywood superstar in Hawaii.

The Rock and Reigns also happen to be cousins and part of the great Anoa'i wrestling family.

Dwayne is working on his upcoming movie Hobbs and Shaw that is a spin-off of Fast and Furious featuring Jason Statham and a host of big actors including his cousin Reigns.

"The experience with the Rock was phenomonal," Reigns said. "To be able to hang out with Dwayne and see him in his element and the type of genius person that he is...he's infectious.
"He can magnetise you, you want to be around him, you want to hang out with him because he's such a nice person. So it was great," Reigns admitted.

Reigns made his first appearance back on Monday Night Raw to give his fans an update on his real-life battle with leukemia and it was fantastic news.

"I just knew in my head that this journey is not going to be complete until I step back into that ring and I get to address my fans," he said.
