Briefly.co.za previously reported that the winner of the R232 million Powerball claimed his winnings recently.

The 50-year-old man has now revealed how the money will change the lives of himself and his family.

He revealed that he will not quit his day job and will try to continue as normal.

News 24 reported on the interview conducted with eNCA where the man said he would resist the temptation to spend recklessly.

The winner asked to remain anonymous and says he is very excited.

He said, “For me, it will open doors for my kids' education because that is very important to me."

Briefly.co.za understands that the man felt he was often disappointing his children by not being able to cater for all their needs.

The family was living from hand to mouth but all of that is a thing of the past.
