The CRL Commission (Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities) is looking into the alleged resurrection that took place a few days ago.

Alleluia International Ministries’ Pastor Alph Lukau is being investigated and the commission is taking the matter very seriously.

David Mosoma, chairperson of the commission, made it clear the commission is taking the matter very seriously.

He said, "Unless we do that, South Africans are taken for a ride and their intelligence is insulted."

Briefly.co.za shared the news on Tuesday and South Africans have reacted angrily.

Nhlanhla Zuma said, “Insulting our intelligence you say? Our intelligence was insulted the day you decided to allow these foreign pastors to perform their fake miracles and squeeze our people for every cent they have.”
Bongani Ntshangase added, “The commission talks too much without action,do something as a lesson to this people.”

It was hard to gauge if social media users were more upset with Lukau or the actual commission based on the heated remarks.

Andrew Sambo said, “This commission is useless, they are wasting our tax for nothing.”
Mgobs Non-Addict KoDevil Sandzonce added: “Deport him back & his fake ministry to the hell they came from... This is beyond insulting us.”
Enock Hlatshwayo said, “We were long insulted from the day you government officials allow this foreigners in our country.”

However, the embattled religious leader still received some support.

Katlego Thabang Monama said, “But guys you fail to understand that it’s exactly why the pastor raised him up. He was always part of the church and he was raised from the dead for his loyal service to the ministry. God does wonders and never look beyond what he can do because of who he does it through. Papa Lukau is God-sent in the absence of Papa Bushiri. You can deny all you want. God’s will can’t be stopped HALLELUJAH.”
