Amanda Black and Nasty C are over the moon after they shared the fantastic news about them being them representing Mzansi at the Essence Festival in New Orleans in July.
Amanda took to Instagram yesterday and shared her excitement together with the line-up of artists to perform at the Essence Festival.
"Guys I am so excited. Gonna be performing at the @essence Festival in New Orleans, USA this July," she wrote.
She also shared a short videe showing off her excitement and said: "The cloud I’m on... Don’t ever give up on your dreams. Don’t ever limit your dreams. It’s the expectations you need to look out for. But don’t dream small. You are not small.
Meanwhile, young rapper Nasty C will also join Amanda Black with fellow SA musos, rapper Tellaman and Celest Ntuli at the prestigious event.
It is such an honour for our Mzansi stars to share the stage with the talents of Pharrell Williams, Jermaine Dupri, Nas and many more.
The event is set to take place in New Orleans and Lousisana the from 4 to 7 July.
Less then a month ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Amanda Black released a powerful new song with a strong message and reclaimed her spot as one of Mzansi's most talented musicians.
But just after releasing the song, she took to social media to address South African women, and it was inspiring. She gave women some advice on relationships.
