Guy singing with emotion and Mzansi reacts: “The man can sing!”

- Some social media users admitted that they weren’t sure if they should cry or laugh and some did both

- Many raved about the man’s signing ability but others felt he was more drunk than anything else

A short video clip was shared via social media and evoked strong emotions from South Africans.

Twitter user, @ChristoThurston, shared the footage on Tuesday, with a host of emojis indicating that the singer had moved him to tears.

Not everyone was convinced however as some mocked the performance.

Twitter user, @lebomokgethi8g1, said: “Amen the church is out bazalwane we can all go home and never come back.”

Briefly.co.za noted that a number of tweeps found the clip to be quite amusing.

The unknown singer had his fair share of fans as well though.

Twitter user, @nkosi_, said: “He should be our lead singer this one.”

Quite a few people questioned the man’s state of mind when he performed the song.

Twitter user, @mmaselema, said: “Most drunkards are good with singing when they are inebriated. He is drunkard who is aware of his problem.”

With such a wide range of emotions, it’s hard to gauge the general consensus.
