Former first lady, Tobeka Madiba-Zuma expressed her pride that Sandy, a bright young woman is now a second year medical student.
Tobeka took to social media to gush that Sandi was a straight-A student in high school and completed her matric in Nkandla. She added that Sandi had excellent female black medical doctors to look up to for inspiration, and expressed her gratitude and admiration for Dr Thandeka Ngcobo and Dr Sibusisiwe Cindy Nkosi.
Sandy has great role models as Dr Ngcobo was voted Mail and Guardian 200 Young South Africans in 2018, as was also Southern African Development Community’s Top 100 Young Leaders last year, Briefly.co.za learned.
Dr. Nkosi also does incredible work uplifting women and future doctors.
[Sandi] is a product of great mentoring and coaching by two phenomenal young and successful medical doctors. If it wasn’t for you my angels, Sandi would not have been where she is.
