The South African actress, Kgomotso Christopher, recently won her first SAFTA award. Some might say, third time lucky, as this will be the third time she has been nominated.
Best known for her roles as Nox Madondo starring in the drama series 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls and of course Katlego Sibeko, in the soapie Isidingo.
Kgomotso was up against Nomzamo Mbatha and Dwan Thandeka and she walked away with the award for Best Actress in a TV Soap. It was her role in Scandal playing the vixen Yvonne that brought the trophy home for the 39-year-old actress.
The talented vixen looked absolutely stunning dressed in an elegant simple white dress. The previous times she walked the red carpet she has been dressed in colour but decided to go for white this time round.
She spoke to Sunday World and said she had no expectations just as the past two nominations and would savour her triumph this year.
Kgomotso is such a talented actress and manages to fit into any roles she is awarded. The people of South Africa love watching her on TV. Her beauty and astounding talent as an actress puts her on the same level as the other renowned actresses in South Africa!
