- A towing mistake proved costly as a truck plummeted downhill in Cape Town
- The incident was caught on camera and had social media users in stitches

A tow truck was sent to rescue another truck that was stuck in a forested area in Cape Town.
The truck had somehow veered off the side of the road and descended slightly down a hill.
South Africa Live shared a video of the rescue operation via Facebook, but it turned out to be a comedy of errors.
As the tow truck starts proceedings, its own wheels are lifted off the ground – perhaps an indication that the load’s weight was too powerful.
Nevertheless, the tow truck driver persevered and after much effort, manages to haul the truck uphill and back onto the road.
The group of people applaud the tow truck driver but the commentator of the video warns him to watch the cable and to apply the brakes.
It seems the words of warning fell on deaf ears as the cable snaps and the truck rolls back downhill.
This time the momentum is even greater than before and the truck rolls all the way downhill as it ends up in an even worse position.
