Police Commissioner, Kehla Sithole, has said he had given the police three hours to find and apprehend Mampintsha. The three-hour deadline began at 7am and has since ended at 10am. Mampintsha has still not been found.
Speaking on SABC’s Morning Live, the Commissioner said that they had a warrant out for the Kwaito star’s arrest and asked anyone who may have any information to come forward. Briefly.co.za learnt that Babes Wodumo earlier laid an assault case at the Westville police station against her boyfriend, and Sithole confirmed this.
Babes’ sister has also confirmed that Mampintsha is nowhere to be found and apparently on the run. The EFF has called on South Africans to make a public arrest when they see him and take him to the nearest police station.
The legal action from Babes Wodumo came after mounting calls from public figures and social media users for Mampintsha to be arrested for assault.
