On Monday, a throwback video of Julius Malema was shared on social media which showed the EFF leader confronting police before the Marikana Massacre.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, has over and over iterated that he cares about the people - and a recent video just proved it.
On Monday, Xabiso Mtwana, who goes by the Twitter handle @MtwanaXabiso, shared a throwback video of Julius Malema standing up for the Marikana protesters on 16 August 2012.
"You must know your leaders. The commander in chief @Julius_S_Malema confronting the police in Marikana just before the Massacre. The police asked CIC Malema to leave the place within 10 minutes," the video was captioned.
Briefly.co.za gathered the video sparked quite a reaction and South Africans praised Juju for caring about the people.
Matereka Xaba, who goes by the Twitter handle @Msinga_Boy, commented: "This is hurting, Nx!!!. I wish I can meet those police officers just to find out from them if they are happy and proud of the nonsense they committed. Black man and woman of working class you are not alone, @EFFSouthAfrica and CIC are with you."
Another tweep, @BapelaMzet, added: "We call him revolutionary fighter nd a fearless leader."
