‘I’m not a monster’: Mampintsha out on bail after court appearance

Mampintsha has been granted bail of R2 000 in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court. He has spoken out, saying that he still believes that there is a "third force" causing all the problems in his relationship with Babes Wodumo.

Mampintsha appeared in court earlier today after his girlfriend Babes Wodumo laid a charge of assault against him following the release of a harrowing video showing him slapping her. The Kwaito musician appeared in court wearing a moon boot on his leg, causing many social media users to wonder what could have injured him in the last few hours.

According to a brief interview with eNCA, the muso said that Babes provoked him many times. He went on to insist that a "third force" is present, sabotaging his relationship with Babes. He went on to insist that he was not crazy.

"I'm not a monster."

Briefly.co.za learnt that he is due back in court on 15 May; until then he is not allowed any contact with Babes Wodumo.
