Mandla "Mampintsha" Maphumulo's West Ink Records has organised a concert at the University of the Western Cape, but it could be cancelled. The event has already been rescheduled once because conditions had not been met.
A concert planned for May by Mampintsha’s West Ink Records hangs in the balance, and it has nothing to do with the tragic drama surrounding his girlfriend, Babes Wodumo.
The video that was shared allegedly showing Mampintsha getting physical with Babes is not to blame for the possible cancellation of the event that is meant to take place at the University of the Western Cape.
A report by eNCA indicated that the concert has already been rescheduled once before because conditions had not been met.
However, it is safe to say that the accusation against Mampintsha could influence the decision of the university. Calls to boycott him and his music are becoming louder, with celebs backing out of gigs that feature him.
This could have a negative effect on all West Ink business.
The concert is expected to take place in May, but the university will make its final decision once assessments have been made.
Briefly.co.za gathered that this is not West Ink Records' first troubles. In 2018, many artists bailed because they were not getting paid.
