A medley of comical local videos was shared via Facebook recently and left Mzansi in stitches once again.

The video was shared by South Africa Live and has already been viewed 53 000 times since Sunday.

South African Police Services (SAPS) officers feature heavily at the start as some corrupt and negligent issues are on show.

One of the most controversial scenes included the SAPS officer avoiding her work duties as she made a personal call to the Multichoice call centre.

The viral video caused such a stir on social media that even former Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula, got involved.

Briefly.co.za also previously reported on the cop who stopped a driver, but sang happy birthday on video.

The beautiful officer pulled a motorist over but upon realising it was his birthday, she serenaded him with a birthday message.

Other notable clips include an eNCA news feed which sees a reporter continuously embarrassed as he interviews 2 different people using foul language as well as a video showing a man bathing in a pothole.

Tina-Marie Trevenen said, “I never get tired of the Traffic Officer singing happy birthday. What a wonderful gesture!”
Christopher Kristopher commented: “That dude was bathing in a pothole.”
Leonieke van der Laan added, “Watching this, haha, wonderful, I miss living in South Africa so much these days.”

However, not everyone was amused.

Margot Smith said, “Makes me cringe. This is SA new reality? What a shame.”
