Good Samaritans: Two kind men warm hearts after feeding street beggar

Be your brother's keeper is a saying most people choose to ignore because they feel like it is not their responsibility to look after the poor and dejected.

Two men in Nairobi's Eastleigh Estate, however, proved there is still some humanity left in this cruel, unforgiving world.

Scrolling through Twitter, Briefly.co.za came across priceless photos of two Somali men sitting on the ground as they shared a meal with a beggar.

The pair was walking when they came across the man who was crawling on the ground, completely haggard and hungry.

The two then proceeded to buy the man a decent meal which they then served and squatted to make sure the beggar ate it. One of the good Samaritans even fed the beggar just like a mother would a child.

People were completely touched and could not hold their tears back as they struggled to come to terms with how kind the two men were.

In a world that is filled with bitterness, anger and vengeance, these men have proved a kind gesture goes a long way.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za had previously gathered the report of a beggar on the streets of Lagos who had rejected the money given to him by a kindhearted citizen. Narrating the encounter, the female citizen said the beggar rejected the N100 note because it was dirty.
