SA reacts to Bonnie Mbuli's tweet blaming men for downfalls of women

Bonnie Mbuli stirred the hornet's nest when she took to social media to blame men for women's downfalls. Although a few women shared her sentiments, many South Africans were left unimpressed.

Bonnie is known for her pro woman stance and she took to social media to share her thoughts on what she believes is responsible for the downfall of many successful women - men. In her tweet, she said:

"Behind every successful, talented woman's downfall, is a man- A South African proverb."

The media personality may have been hinting at the recent drama involving Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha, as many have said that he is responsible for stifling her growth and career. Mampintsha has since denied the allegations.

Mzansi social media users were not impressed with Bonnie's tweet and many expressed disappointment that she would say something like this.

Bonnie did her best to clap back at the responses, but ended up resorting to blocking the trolls.

Bonnie is not a stranger to controversy or being on the wrong side of Mzansi social media users' keyboards. Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mpho Letsholonyane had to come to her defence after trolls attacked her for being in an interracial relationship.
