Babes Wodumo leaves Mampintsha: "We are not victims, we are survivors"

Babes Wodumo has finally broken her silence following the viral video of Mampintsha assaulting her. She took to social media to share a post saying that she lost a friend to abuse years ago and is now walking away from Mampintsha.

The muso did not attend her press briefing yesterday where her family said that she had been hospitalised. She has since opened up, taking to Instagram to tell Mzansi that she is leaving Mampintsha before he does worse to her.

“This could have been you, your sister, your daughter, your niece...We are not victims but survivors.”

Mampintsha, however, has denied abusing Babes on purpose. He said that he was provoked and was acting in self-defence. Briefly.co.za learnt that he has since laid a counter-assault charge against her.
