Passengers aboard a flight got more of an adventure than they bargained for after the pilot made an emergency landing outside of Hammanskraal in Gauteng. The aircraft had experienced technical difficulties and he was forced to bring the plane down near the road.
Motorists were encouraged to proceed with caution while emergency services handled the situation. Although many road-users were fascinated by the incident unfolding before their eyes, police warned that stopping to spectate would add to the congestion and confusion on the roads.
