DJ Zinhle took to social media to ask her fans for some good news, and they gave her exactly what she wanted. Mzansi shared their feel-good stories on her timeline, and it was great to be reminded of the good that still happens in SA.
In a time when crime and violence seem to be the order of the day, it's no surprise that people are craving good news.
Even celebs want to feel inspired by the good things that happen in Mzansi but never get talked about.
Maybe that's why DJ Zinhle took to her Twitter account to ask her fans to share their good news with her.
The DJ's fans did not hesitate and quickly started telling her about the things they achieved, the things they are grateful for, and the things that make them happy.
She retweeted some of them to spread the good vibes, and Briefly.co.za picked up on it.
Some fans were happy about the health and progress of their children:
@zoezola - My son has been cleared of pneumonia, discharged from hospital and is well again.
@Lachocolata5 - My 5year old can count from 1 to 100 and she can write her name
There were fans who were proud of what they accomplished, like 'getting that job', and wanted to share it with Zinhle:
@mimiezodwah - I got a job today...
@JaftaYanga - went to sign my new job employment contract today
@mrray_g - I'm about to finish building my house!
Another fan was just happy to still be standing, despite what life throws at them:
@NomzamoMtshali - I'm still standing
The personal joys that fans shared with Zinhle once again proved that happiness lie in the small victories in life as well as the big ones.
