Cape Town City FC shared a tweet on Tuesday, which shows a young boy singing passionately with the players.
South Africans are very impressed with the youngster’s rendition of “Hlanganani Yhoo eh Yhooo Awe” as the video clip went viral, attracting 2 000 likes in the process.
Although, the 8-year-old boy is no stranger to the limelight.
Mateo Manousakis became a social media sensation last year when footage of his support for the Premier Soccer League (PSL) side went viral.
His father is City’s assistant coach, Vasili Manousakis, and he revealed his son’s love of local soccer.
Mateo is often seen singing with the players as he attends every home game.
Vasili explained that his son started sneaking into the dressing room and singing with the players since the age of 6.
